Description

The V10 employs sixteen automotive-grade 230Ah LiFePO4 cells in series, creating a nominal 51.2V system with 11.776kWh raw capacity. The 10kWh usable rating isn’t a limitation—it’s intentional engineering. By constraining depth of discharge to 87%, Pytes prevents the capacity degradation that affects systems operating at full discharge. This 1.776kWh buffer provides thermal and electrochemical headroom that extends operational life from roughly 3,000 cycles to over 8,000 cycles.

The 16S configuration stays below the 60V DC safety threshold while optimizing efficiency for standard 48V inverter systems. Each 230Ah cell balances energy density with thermal management—large enough to minimize connection points, while maintaining excellent heat dissipation.

The 10kWh specification directly addresses California’s UL9540 regulatory requirements. With individual residential ESS units limited to 20kWh under current fire codes, the V10’s capacity enables modular expansion without regulatory barriers.
