The MultiPlus-II 3kVA inverter/charger is the heart of this system. When you’re plugged into shore power or a generator, it passes that power through to your loads and charges your batteries at the same time. If external power drops out, the MultiPlus-II switches over almost instantly and keeps everything on the first AC output running at 120Vac, using energy stored in Victron’s Lithium NG batteries. The second AC output only comes on when shore or generator power is present, which makes it a good home for heavy loads like an air conditioner or water heater that you don’t want pulling from your bank.

Need more power? Add a second MultiPlus-II and the pair can be set up for 120/240Vac split-phase output. That doubles your inverter capacity and lets you run 240V equipment like well pumps, dryers, and larger shop tools.

Victron's Lithium NG batteries are compact and suitable for all the turbulence of the road. Connect your bank to the VE.Bus BMS NG, which manages the batteries as well as measures all current going into and out of the bank.

Not everyone has external AC power all the time. That's why we added in two options for external DC power to charge your batteries directly - the Orion XS DC-DC Battery Charger and the SmartSolar MPPT Charge Controller. The Orion XS draws power from the alternator while the engine is running, and the SmartSolar MPPT connects to solar panels for stationary charging.
