Who This Program Is For

Our affiliate program is built for content creators who work with renewable energy products and want to earn commission by directing their audience to equipment they already use and trust. If you make videos, write blog posts, build systems on camera, or share your off-grid lifestyle on social media, this program is for you.

We carry solar panels, batteries, inverters, charge controllers, generators, racking, cable, and tools from brands like Victron, Cummins, Canadian Solar, IntegraRack, Wera, and more. Every product on our store is eligible for affiliate commission, so there's no shortage of things to talk about.

We're not looking for a specific subscriber count or follower number. We want to work with creators who are genuinely active in the renewable energy space and who produce honest, quality content. We're looking to build real relationships, not just referral volume.

This program is not for dealers, distributors, or resellers who intend to stock inventory. It's also not for coupon or rebate aggregation sites.

How to Apply

Becoming an affiliate is free. The application is a two-step process, and both steps are required before your account is activated.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Sign up through our affiliate portal to create your profile. This gives you an account in the system, but it is not active yet. You will not receive a referral link until Step 2 is complete.

Step 2: Email Us Your Application

Fill out a contact form with the details listed below. This is how we verify that you're a real creator and review your application. Your account will be approved after our team reviews your submission.

We review every application by hand. This process exists because we want affiliates who are genuinely invested in the products and the community, not just accounts in a system. Most applications are reviewed within a few business days.

What to Include When Reaching Out

When you contact us to complete your application, please include the following so our team can review your profile:

Your name and the name of your brand, channel, or business.

Links to your active social media channels, website, or content platforms. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, blog, podcast, or anything else where you're creating content.

Where you plan to promote Current Connected products. Specific platforms, websites, email lists, etc.

How you intend to promote our products. Reviews, tutorials, build videos, social posts, blog content, comparisons, or other formats.

A link to an example of your content that best represents the type of work you'd create for Current Connected.

A brief description of your audience and how it relates to renewable energy, off-grid living, solar power, or related topics.

Your country of residence. The affiliate program is currently available to applicants in the United States and Canada only.

What You Get

Commission on every referred sale. Commission rates are based on referral volume and product category, assigned on a case-by-case basis. On average, actively participating affiliates earn 8%.

A unique referral link. Available through your affiliate profile once your account is approved. Customers must shop through your link for the session to be credited to you.

Access to the full product catalog. Every product on the Current Connected store is eligible for affiliate commission.

Monthly payouts in USD. Commissions are paid out monthly once you reach the minimum balance ($1,000 for US account holders, $1,500 for account holders outside the US).

Potential for product partnerships. We may occasionally offer free or discounted products for promotional content once a stable relationship has been established. These are provided at the discretion of our marketing team and are issued by invite only.

Program Rules

We keep these straightforward.

  • Affiliates must have an active and relevant social media presence with a fully functioning channel. We're looking for creators and entities within the renewable energy and electrical space, including grid-tied solar, off-grid solar, home and mobile battery systems, energy monitoring, backup power, inverter and charge controller applications, solar racking and installation, and general electrical work.
  • Affiliates must have a minimum of 12 credited transactions in a 12-month period to maintain program eligibility.
  • We must have valid W9 and payment information on file in order to process a payout.
  • Self-referrals are not allowed under any circumstances. Installer, wholesale, and distributor accounts are not eligible for the affiliate program, nor are their sales credited to affiliates.
  • Lies, lies through omission, misrepresentation of Current Connected or associated brands, and other forms of misinformation will not be tolerated. We will not support anything illegal, unethical, or explicit, nor misinformation or fear mongering.
  • Coupon and rebate sites are not eligible for participation.
  • There is no political affiliation with Current Connected, nor are we associated with any social initiatives. Any group that is or becomes a part of our affiliate network does not adopt any of our policies or views, nor do we adopt any of theirs.
  • We reserve the right to update the conditions of our affiliate program at any time without notice.
