Quattro – Victron’s Advanced Dual AC Input System

The Victron Quattro represents an advanced inverter-charger system featuring dual AC inputs for enhanced power management flexibility. This sophisticated unit combines inverter, battery charger, and automatic transfer switch functionality with the ability to accept two separate AC sources, such as grid power and generator input. The Quattro automatically selects the optimal power source while maintaining seamless transitions and continuous power delivery to connected loads.

The Quattro product line includes models ranging from 3kVA to 15kVA across various voltage configurations including 12V, 24V, and 48V DC input options. Split-phase 120V/240V models serve North American residential applications, while single-phase units accommodate international installations. The PowerAssist feature allows the Quattro to supplement insufficient AC input with battery power, preventing generator or grid overload during peak demand periods.

Quattro systems support parallel and three-phase configurations for increased power capacity and redundancy. VE.Bus communication enables integration with GX monitoring devices, battery monitors, and other Victron components for comprehensive system management. Advanced features include programmable relay outputs, adjustable charging parameters for various battery chemistries, and remote monitoring through VictronConnect and VRM portal access.
