Current Connected is YOUR Victron product specialist
Victron’s 24V MultiPlus-II 3kVA 2×120V inverter-charger is UL458 certified and is specifically designed for North American RVs with its split phase wiring and 50A shore power. It has one AC input and two AC outputs. The Multiplus-II is a low frequency inverter with an unprecedented idle consumption of 11W. It’s rated for 2.4kW continuous output that peaks at 5.5kW. This enables pumps, motors, or other high surge items to draw needed power without interruptions or system failures.
Advantages
- One 2×120 inverter replaces two inverters in a split phase configuration
- Ideal for small systems
- PowerAssist boosts the total power, adding up to 2.4kW to existing AC power
- PowerControl limits the incoming power draw if needed
- Dual outputs enable customization and control for both critical and non-critical loads
Customizable with Advanced Programming Capabilities: In addition to handling high surges, the MultiPlus-II is highly programmable through the VictronConnect software. These features enable automated programming, such as activating a fan when the temperature reaches a certain level.
Split Phase Capabilities Power a Home’s Variety of Appliances: The 2×120V feature means the inverter receives 120/240V input and delivers 120/240V output when the split-phase input is present. While the inverter only uses 120V power to charge the batteries, loads can be connected to both L1 and L2 and receive 120V power at any time, even if the 120/240V power input is disconnected. Loads that require 240V power must be connected to both L1 and L2 outputs, but they will not receive power when the inverter is disconnected from split-phase power that is supplied by AC input.
Just like all Victron 120V inverters, this inverter can only output 120V power from the batteries. When there is no 120/240V power input available, 120V loads on both L1 and L2 receive 120V, though 240V loads receive 0V. When 120/240V power input is restored, the 240V loads receive 240V power. This allows large loads like water pumps to operate only when AC input is available, preserving battery power for the critical loads in the system.
Choose Victron's MultiPlus-II 3kVA 2×120V Inverter Charger to power a mobile energy system with both 120V and 240V loads.
