Victron Lithium NG 51.2V 100Ah 5.12kWh LiFePO4 Battery with Integrated Current Sensor - For Mobile And Home Power Systems

Victron’s 48V LiFePO4 battery is designed for stationary installations like tiny homes or cabins, though it is also used in RVs and other mobile applications. A single battery provides 5.12kWh of storage, and for larger installations, it’s possible to wire up to 25 batteries in parallel for a total storage capacity of 128kWh. 

These Victron batteries include a BTV (Balancing, Temperature, and Voltage Control). This monitors and balances individual battery cells and connects to an external and required BMS (Battery Management System). 

This battery is compatible with several of Victron’s BMS units, including the SmallBMS NG, the Lynx Smart BMS, and the VE.Bus BMS NG. The BMS receives information and alarms from the BTV and can send a signal to either activate or deactivate connected devices. The BMS also handles battery firmware updates. 

VictronConnect, a GX device, or the VRM portal (Virtual Remote Management) allow for remote monitoring and control. All BMS units include Bluetooth, making it possible to connect any smart device to the battery with the VictronConnect app. GX devices like the Cerbo GX MK2  or the Ekrano GX provide extensive automation and customization options and transfer real time information to the VRM when connected to WiFi. As an online portal, the VRM provides remote monitoring and control from anywhere in the world. 

While advised only for indoor use, this battery has an ingress protection rating of IP65. This means it is dustproof and can handle small water jets. This makes it ideal for installations in dusty environments, though it should be stored in a dry location.
