About the Victron 24V MultiPlus-II 5kVA 120V Inverter Charger
The 24V MultiPlus-II 5kVA 120V Inverter Charger is Victron’s low frequency solution for a mobile friendly inverter with dual AC outputs, extraordinary customization options, and PowerAssist.
PowerAssist Settings
PowerAssist constantly monitors incoming power, outgoing power, and battery health. If incoming power is greater than outgoing power, PowerAssist automatically diverts incoming power to charge the batteries. If outgoing power is greater than incoming power, PowerAssist automatically uses up to 4kW to meet the outgoing AC needs.
PowerAssist is included in VictronConnect, Victron’s inverter management software with many configuration settings. It can turn off the battery when the battery voltage drops below a set level, limit the power draw from AC sources, and supplement AC power with battery power for sudden, large power demands, such as a hair dryer, air conditioner, or microwave.
Dual AC Outputs
The MultiPlus-II powers the first AC output continuously and powers the second AC output only when power is available from either AC input. This means critical loads should be connected to the first output, and it makes the second output ideal for non-essential loads or loads that could rapidly drain a battery, such as a hot water heater.
Choose Victron's Multiplus-II for an inverter with dual outputs, numerous programmable settings, and Victron’s PowerAssist feature. It's an excellent choice for grid-tied, off-grid, or mobile applications.
