MultiPlus II – Enhanced Inverter-Charger Technology

The Victron MultiPlus II represents the next generation of integrated inverter-charger technology, building upon the proven MultiPlus platform with enhanced features and improved performance. This advanced system combines pure sine wave inverting, adaptive battery charging, and automatic transfer switch functionality in a single unit. The MultiPlus II delivers seamless transitions between grid, generator, and battery power while optimizing energy management for modern residential applications.

The MultiPlus II product line includes models from 3kVA to 5kVA with 48V DC input configurations and split-phase 120V/240V output for North American installations. Enhanced PowerAssist technology supplements insufficient AC input with battery power, preventing source overload during peak demand periods. Improved charging algorithms optimize battery health across LiFePO4 and lead-acid chemistries with temperature-compensated parameters and configurable absorption periods.

MultiPlus II systems support parallel configurations for increased capacity through VE.Bus communication. Integration with GX monitoring devices enables comprehensive system management through VictronConnect app and VRM portal with remote access. Advanced features include ESS (Energy Storage System) capabilities, self-consumption optimization, programmable relay outputs, and grid-support functions including frequency shifting.
