Choose Your Mount and Anchoring

Level ground

BallastRack frames stand on their own, one frame per panel. Choose a fixed tilt (IR-15 or IR-30), stepped adjustment (IR-40FSA), seasonal adjustment (IR-45ASA), or an east-west layout (IR-EW15).

Anchoring

On a concrete slab, the SlabBallast kit bolts frames down with Tapcon anchors. On soil, choose EarthBallast (geotextile and epoxy) or 30-inch EarthScrews. Your wind and snow exposure decides how much anchoring a site needs.

Flat and tile roofs

MultiBallast mounts panels on flat roofs and flat ground at 0°, 5° east-west, or 8°, and the MultiBallast wind spoiler limits uplift. TileBallast mounts tile roofs without drilling. Not sure which fits your site? Contact our support team and we’ll help you size it.

IntegraRack FAQ

No. BallastRack frames stand on almost any level surface without rails, augers, concrete footings, or driven posts. Add the anchoring kit that suits your site: SlabBallast on a concrete slab, or EarthBallast or EarthScrews on soil.

A tilt close to your latitude is a common starting point. The IR-40FSA lets you set the angle in 2.5° steps, and the IR-45ASA lets you change it through the year: steeper in winter, flatter in summer.

No. The frames skip rails, earth augers, and post pounding, so there’s no heavy machinery involved, whether you’re setting up a cabin array yourself or running a crew.

IntegraRack frames clamp each panel with UL 2703 certified bonding flange brackets, and DynoBond jumpers are available to bond between frames. Follow the installation manual for the full grounding path.

IntegraRack racking is American-made aluminum. If you need documentation for a project, contact our support team and we’ll confirm it with the manufacturer.
