Mounting Angle Option

This IntegraRack IR MultiBallast kit mounts any size of solar panel at a low 8° tilt. It is ideal for a flat roof, patio, or open ground, and because the kit is small and lightweight, it ships and assembles with ease.

Specifications:

  • Ballasted mount kit for flat roofs, patios, or flat ground
  • 8° single-tilt (north/south) configuration
  • Each kit includes 2x aluminum base mounts, 2x riser brackets, 2x H module brackets, 4x IR-F2 module bonding brackets, and 8x bolts
  • 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum
  • Conforms to UL 2703 bonding and grounding requirements when correctly installed
  • Secured with two standard 4×8×16in CMU cinder blocks per kit (not included), or bonded directly to the roof with polyurethane sealant
  • Shipping weight: 8 lbs
  • Shipping dimensions (H×W×D): 17×9×9 in

Important: Make sure the roof can support the added weight of the solar panel system.

IntegraRack’s IR MultiBallast turns any flat surface into a productive solar field. Choose the IR-W5MBCB to mount modules flat at 0° or in a 5° east-west “W” configuration on a flat roof, a patio, or the ground, all without penetrating the surface below.

The IntegraRack IR-B1 is the DynoRaxx DynoBond bonding jumper, a UL-recognized clip that pushes onto the bottom flange of your module frames to carry the electrical bonding path between panels and across rows. It uses the frames themselves as the ground path, replacing the old routine of a ground lug on every module and a heavy run of 6-gauge copper, and it installs in seconds without tools.

  • Available in 8-inch and 12-inch lengths
  • 12 AWG tin-plated copper wire with stainless steel spring clips
