Description

Sol-Ark’s powerful 18K-2P hybrid inverter delivers up to 18kW from batteries alone, and it can provide up to 200A pass through when connected to the grid. This makes it ideal for off-grid cabins, on-grid residences, or hybrid installations. It’s also possible to wire up to 12 units in parallel for a maximum continuous output of 216kW.
For solar production, the 18K includes three MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Trackers), and each one has a maximum short circuit current of 54A. These MPPTs continuously monitor the incoming solar power and make adjustments as needed to maximize solar harvest.
Sol-Ark designed the 18K with safety in mind. US engineers design the 18K firmware, so your data is always stateside, and these inverters come with RSD (Rapid Shutdown) capability. It’s possible to wire an external RSD button, like the IMO RSD Initiator, to the 18K. When activated, the RSD button shuts down power in the 18K, and the 18K sends a shutdown signal to any connected and compatible RSD transmitters and devices.
It’s possible to remotely monitor and configure your 18K with the MySolArk app. This app is available from any smart device or desktop, and it is accessible once you’ve connected the WiFi dongle to your 18K. The app shows real time information such as battery SOC (State of Charge %), power to or from the grid, and current load demand.
This inverter is compatible with most batteries including Pytes and Renon. Battery communication happens through CAN or RS485, and the connection must use an RJ45 connector.
