Victron’s Cerbo GX MK2 System Controller is a powerhouse designed for monitoring and controlling all aspects of an 8-70Vdc alternative energy solution. It’s ideal for marine, off-grid, and hybrid energy storage systems. The Cerbo’s many ports enable connection to a variety of Victron and non-Victron products, and the internal software enables acute customization and automation.
The Cerbo is compact. At only 3.07×6.06×1.89in, it’s easy to install in any energy system. This size is especially convenient for small places like an RV compartment.
The optional GX Touch provides an easy way to monitor and control the Cerbo. This touch screen device displays real-time information such as battery SOC (State of Charge %), power out to connected loads, and power in from solar panels. The included 6.5ft cable makes it possible to view the Cerbo’s information from a convenient location.
Since the Cerbo can connect to WiFi and Ethernet, it can upload all system information to Victron’s secure web portal, the VRM (Victron Remote Management). This portal enables configuration and monitoring from anywhere in the world at any time. System data is private by default but can be shared with specific people or made public.
The VRM shows real-time information such as battery SOC (State of Charge %), temperature, tank levels, and AC from shore or pedestal power, a generator, or other AC power inputs. This is all critical information to make sound decisions for the energy system. It’s also possible to check system alarms and run diagnostics remotely with the VRM portal.
Some of the Cerbo’s ports include connections for tank level monitors, temperature sensors, VE.Direct, VE.Can, battery connections, and relays. These connections allow the Cerbo to monitor and control much of the energy system.
Two programmable relays allow for advanced automation and customization. It’s possible to program these relays to activate alarms or generators, or for use with pumps, temperature sensors, and more.

I was hesitant to buy the Cerbo GX. I am glad I did. Original thinking was, why do I need this? I'll just use the Victron Connect App. That said, Batteries and Victron Eco-sSystem is in the workshop. Nice to see everything from your bed or kitchen table without going to the shop. Easy to Firmware updates as well. Higly Recommend this piece of gear!!
Awesome way to control your Victron devices and add in some relays and gauge inputs. I am able to trend my 500 gal lp tank level through the online VRM using the existing tank gauge with a 0-90 ohm add on. Works great
