About the Epoch GC2 Battery Lifting Strap
A lead-acid GC2 sits deep in its tray, with nothing to grab but the case. Hook the bracket ends onto the molded tabs, center the strap, and lift straight up with steady, controlled tension. Work down the row and the old bank is out.
It's the first tool you need for a lithium swap. Once the old batteries are out, you're ready for the Epoch 48V 30Ah GC2.
How to Lift a Golf Cart Battery Safely
Before each lift, check the strap, both brackets and the battery's tabs. Use it only on batteries with sound tabs and an undamaged, dry case. If the weight or the reach into the tray is more than one person should handle, get a second set of hands. Planning the lithium side of the conversion? Our team is happy to help with sizing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Epoch doesn't publish a load rating. The strap is designed around standard GC2 lead-acid batteries, the kind you find in golf carts and RV deep-cycle banks.
Only if the battery case has GC2-style tabs the brackets can grab. In a conversion, its main job is pulling out the old lead-acid batteries.
Usually not. Most car batteries don't have the molded tabs the brackets need.
