Product Summary
Put a live readout of your Epoch GC2 bank on the dash, with remaining capacity, system voltage and current read straight from the batteries. It talks to the modules over their CANbus network and can run off the same bank, so there's no shunt to add.
Specifications:
- Made for Epoch GC2 lithium golf cart batteries (48V 30Ah GC2 modules)
- Shows system voltage, current and remaining capacity
- Reads battery data over the GC2 CANbus network instead of estimating from voltage
- Powers from the same battery it connects to
- Includes the 120 ohm CANbus terminator that closes out the network at the far end of the bank
- The same gauge Epoch includes in its 48V 60Ah and 90Ah GC2 complete kits

About the Epoch Battery Meter Fuel Gauge for GC2 Batteries
The question on every cart is how much is left. This gauge answers it with remaining capacity pulled from the GC2 batteries themselves, right next to system voltage and current. You can watch the draw climb on a hill and know whether there's enough for one more lap of the neighborhood. The reading comes from the batteries' BMS (Battery Management System) over CANbus. So you get the batteries' own numbers, not a guess from voltage the way a basic cart meter works.
Installing the GC2 Fuel Gauge on the CANbus Network
Each GC2 module has two CANbus ports, and the gauge joins the same network the modules use to talk to each other. Epoch's manual puts the included 120 ohm terminator on the battery at the far end of the bank from the gauge.
For the run from the battery bay to the dash, Epoch lists its 84in GC2 CANbus cable for gauge routing. The gauge can draw its power from the same battery it connects to, so you don't need a separate power circuit.
Want phone monitoring too? The Epoch GC2 Bluetooth module adds cell-level detail and an alarm log in the Epoch Pro app.

Frequently Asked Questions
It reads its numbers from the GC2 batteries' CANbus data, so it needs Epoch GC2 batteries on the other end. Epoch doesn't list it for other lithium brands. Lead-acid batteries have no data network for it to read.
No. Epoch's GC2 manual has the gauge reading the bank over CANbus on its own. The two do different jobs. The gauge stays on the dash, and the Bluetooth module is for checking the bank from your phone.
