About the Epoch 84 Inch CANbus Cable for GC2 Modules
When your modules end up under different seats, in a rear box or spread across a custom layout, this is the link that reaches. Seven feet covers the long hop between compartments. The modules still share BMS (Battery Management System) data and run as one bank.
Mix lengths to suit the layout. The Epoch 36in GC2 CANbus cable links neighbors in the same tray, and the 84in handles the long hop between compartments.
Routing a Long CANbus Run to a Dash Gauge
Epoch lists the 84in cable for routing to a dash gauge as well as between modules. That makes it the natural pick when the Epoch GC2 battery fuel gauge mounts up front. Route it away from pinch points, sharp edges and heat, and leave enough slack that seat hinges never pull on it.
A split bank needs longer power runs too. Our custom battery cables are made to order from 6 AWG to 4/0 AWG, cut to the distance between your compartments.

Usually not. Epoch suggests shorter cables for tight, side-by-side trays, where a long cable just leaves a coil to tuck away. Save the 84in for the hops that need the reach.
Epoch makes it for GC2 modules and doesn't treat it as a universal communication cable. Use it between Epoch GC2 modules, or between a GC2 bank and Epoch's GC2 gauge.
