- Pluggable battery connector on one end, 5/16 in ring lug on the other
- Made by Epoch for its server rack batteries
- Epoch's SR48100H manual suggests 100A continuous per power cable and terminal, with 125A as the maximum

About the Epoch 4AWG Pluggable Battery Connector
Epoch's server rack batteries, like the Epoch SR48100H, use plug-in power connectors (two positive, two negative) instead of threaded posts. This cable carries Epoch's pluggable connector on the battery end and a 5/16 in ring lug on the other, so the run to your busbar or inverter goes together with a plug at the battery and one bolt at the far end.
Sizing Server Rack Battery Cables to Your Inverter
Epoch's SR48100H manual suggests 100A continuous through each power cable and terminal, with 125A as the ceiling, and says to use enough cable pairs to carry the bank's current. The same manual calls for a fuse or DC-rated breaker as close as practical to the battery positive, sized to protect the smallest conductor in the circuit.
Past the busbar, our custom battery cables are made to order from 6 AWG to 4/0 AWG for the heavier run to the inverter.
Not sure how many cable pairs your inverter needs? Our team is happy to help with sizing.
