I got the wifi option when I bought the inverter, but for the highest reliability I wanted to Ethernet option. Did the job perfectly.

Monitor EG4 inverters* and the GridBOSS through the EG4 Monitor Center using the WiFi+Ethernet dongle or the LTE dongle.
Either adapter replaces the WiFi Monitoring Adapter included with the inverter. There is a choice of WiFi+Ethernet connection or a cellular LTE connection.
With the LTE adapter, the included SIM card provides service for five years. Upon the end of the five year mark, a new SIM and a service plan from a preferred carrier can be purchased to continue service.
*This does not include the 3000EHV which uses a different dongle.
