Product Summary
Put your Epoch Pro Series bank's state of charge, voltage, current and temperature on a color touch screen you mount where you actually look. It reads the batteries' own BMS (Battery Management System) data with no shunt to wire, and its built-in speaker sounds off when something needs attention.
Specifications:
- Made for Epoch Pro Series batteries, including the 12V 300Ah Pro Dual Purpose and the 24V 60Ah Pro
- 5in color LCD with capacitive touch, 800 x 480 resolution and automatic brightness from a built-in light sensor
- Shows state of charge, voltage, current, remaining amp-hours, high and low temperature and bank layout, plus power and cycle count for each pack
- Built-in speaker and LED for warnings, protection events and low state of charge
- Wires straight to the primary battery with the supplied harness, or to the Pro Series Communications Box on larger banks
- Runs on 9 to 60Vdc for 12V, 24V and 48V systems, drawing 55 to 170mA at 12V (under 5W)

About the Epoch Pro Series 5 Inch Touch Screen Battery Monitor
Your Pro Series batteries already track their own state of charge, temperatures and faults. This monitor puts all of it on a 5in color screen at the helm, in the coach or on the shop wall. Checking the bank takes a glance instead of a phone, an app and a Bluetooth connection. It reads the BMS directly, so there's no shunt to install and no charge estimate to calibrate.
The home screen shows you the whole bank. You get state of charge, voltage, current, remaining amp-hours, the highest and lowest temperatures, and how the batteries are wired in series and parallel. Tap into any pack for its power and cycle count. When charge falls to 10% or below, the state of charge indicator can change color. The speaker sounds for warnings and low-charge thresholds, so you'll hear about it even from across the room.
Epoch built it for the Pro Series. Both the Epoch 12V 300Ah Pro Dual Purpose battery and the 24V 60Ah Pro list it as their optional display.
Battery Monitor Alarms for Low Charge and BMS Faults
The screen reports the same warnings and protection events the BMS tracks. That covers high and low voltage at the cell, battery and system level. It also covers charge and discharge current, temperature, short circuit, cell imbalance and internal communication faults. You hear the alert and see which fault set it off, with time to shed a load or start a charge.
Wiring the Display Direct or Through the Communications Box
On a single battery or a small bank, the supplied harness runs from the display to the primary battery's LINK IN port. The display's terminal block takes power from your 12V, 24V or 48V system, positive to positive and negative to negative. Larger multi-battery banks connect the display to the T-monitor port on the Epoch Pro Series Communications Box instead. So do systems that also need to talk to an inverter, an NMEA 2000 network or RV-C.
Either way, you link the batteries LINK OUT to LINK IN. Then you assign network addresses from the primary battery and name the system in the Epoch Pro app. The display picks up the bank from there. Planning a bigger bank? Our team is happy to help with sizing and choosing between direct wiring and the Communications Box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Epoch lists it for Pro Series batteries only. Its other lines have their own ways to monitor. The V2 and V2-T Elite batteries are set up for Victron communication, where a Victron GX device and display do this job.
The heated Essentials batteries have Bluetooth built in, and GC2 golf cart modules use Epoch's GC2 fuel gauge.
Epoch rates it at 55mA minimum and 170mA maximum on a 12V system. Over a 30-day layup, that works out to roughly 40Ah to 122Ah. On a boat or RV that sits between trips, cut its power or switch the batteries off for storage.
The IP65 rating covers the front face, which also has anti-UV and conformal coatings for sun and moisture. Mount it in a panel or enclosure that keeps the back of the unit and its wiring dry.
