EG4 Storage Solutions 3 Slot Battery Rack, featuring an enclosed cabinet design. The cabinet door swings open on a sturdy hinge, allowing easy access to the equipment and cables for easy installation. The door panel locks securely to help prevent damage, tampering, and/or theft. The front and back panels are vented, allowing air to flow freely and keeping equipment cool. Top ports allow for easy cable routing.
The Rack comes fully assembled and ready to roll (with casters, of course, making it a mobile-ready rack). The casters are removable for easy stacking of the enclosure cabinets. Castors and hardware come inside the rack and then are simply bolted on out of the box.

Rugged and heavier than it looks!
There is a lot to love about this rack and three EG4 batteries. The construction and assembly are both high quality. The lockable handle is a nice touch. The wheels roll easily and sturdy rubber feet drop easily to stabilize once in its final location. The batteries also slid in easily - though two-person install is recommeded! The main drawback is the spacing around the bus bars and the battery handles (with my LL-S batteries). You might consider removing the handles prior to install if you are doing so with two people. In any position, the handles get in the way of very limited space when installing the battery cables or even during RS232 and RS485 firmware updates. Lastly, while there was some cosmetic damage due to careless handling during the shipment (shocker), I was not bothered enough by it to go through the hassel of putting in a claim. This was not the fault of EG4 or Current Connected.
