EG4 FlexBOSS LCD Screen Kit for EG4 FlexBOSS Hybrid Inverters

EG4’s FlexBOSS Screen Kit is a convenient option for system monitoring at the inverter rather than through the EG4 Monitor Center App, or for situations with limited access to the internet. Both installers and end users alike have the ability to commission and adjust settings at their fingertips with this kit.

No network connection is required to use the screen kit, making it ideal for installations that receive weak WiFi signals, have inconsistent connection to EG4’s servers, or for systems that are perpetually offline. As the screen is removable, this screen can move from one inverter to another, allowing installers to use a single screen for various installations.

This screen shows the PV production, grid usage, power going into or coming from the battery and how many watts the loads are consuming. In the top right of the main screen, a status indicator shows whether the system is in normal operation or if there is an alarm or fault present. When the bell icon at the bottom is selected, an event history comes up to show warnings and faults with start dates and times.

Much like the screens on the EG4 18kPV and the EG4 12kPV, the FlexBOSS Screen enables simple navigation of system settings and adjustments. Its touchscreen is ideal for quickly moving from setting to setting or for looking into alarms as they appear.

Unlike other inverter screens that arrive pre-positioned on the face of the unit, the FlexBOSS Screen Kit is installed behind the lower access panel of the FlexBOSS inverter. Alternatively, the screen can be left unaffixed so that it can be removed as needed.

This device is powered by the inverter it is connected to, and all of the hardware required to install the screen is included in the kit. However, a screwdriver is needed to remove and reapply the protective plastic cover inside the inverter.
