Victron Energy RJ45 Splitter, 1 Male to 2 Female, for VE.Bus Parallel and Multi-Phase Connections or Shared BMS Communication Ports
SKU: ASS030065510

Product Summary
This RJ45 splitter turns a single RJ45 port into two by passing all eight pins straight through to both female connectors. It is designed for VE.Bus communication on Victron inverters that have only one RJ45 port, and for splitting shared BMS communication ports that carry CAN and RS485 on separate pin pairs.
Specifications:
- Configuration: 1x RJ45 male to 2x RJ45 female
- Wiring: Straight-through (all 8 pins)
- Cable Length: 15 cm (approximately 6 in)

About the RJ45 Splitter
Victron's smaller MultiPlus models (500VA through 1600VA) have a single VE.Bus RJ45 port instead of two. This splitter gives those units a second port so they can be daisy-chained in parallel or three-phase configurations while still connecting to a GX device or Digital Multi Control panel.
Splitting a Shared BMS Communications Port
Some battery management systems and inverters (including Sol-Ark) use a single RJ45 port that carries both CAN bus and RS485 on different pin pairs. This splitter lets you break that port into two connections, so you can run CAN to one device and RS485 to another simultaneously. A common example is connecting battery CAN communication to a GX device while running RS485 to Solar Assistant on the same port.
Not an Ethernet Splitter
This is a straight-through passive splitter for low-speed communication protocols like VE.Bus, CAN, and RS485. It will not work for ethernet networking. Ethernet requires dedicated pin pairs per connection, and splitting them to two ports will cause both connections to fail.
