Pytes E-Box 48100R batteries are LiFePO4 batteries with Amphenol Surlok terminals and 5.12kWh capacity. They have UL 9540 status with multiple inverters including the Sol-Ark 15K and Sol-Ark 12K, making them an exceptional choice for permitted installations. The batteries are also UL 1973 and UL 9540A verified as standalone products.
It’s possible to parallel up to 16 batteries as one group, and up to 6 groups of 16 batteries when using the Pytes Battery Hub. This results in a maximum capacity of 81.9kWh without a hub and 491.5kWh with a hub. This is enough to power residential or commercial energy systems.
The 48100R batteries come with vertical mounting hardware, but it’s also possible to stack them with Pytes racking brackets when it's not possible to mount them to the wall. The brackets can stack up to 6 batteries.
All Pytes batteries are made with a Pytes BMS (Battery Management System). Since the Pytes engineers create both the battery and the BMS, they know exactly what the battery needs from the BMS and design it to address those needs.
They also continually keep the battery and BMS compatible as technology advances, providing exceptional service throughout the product life and maintaining compatibility between older and newer models.
The Pytes E-Box 48100R batteries use LEDs to indicate SOC% (State of Charge %), and this information gets relayed to the inverter or charge controller through closed-loop communication. For systems needing additional monitoring, the Pytes V5 battery is an excellent option. It’s possible to monitor the V5 through the SOLARMAN app when paired with the Pytes V5 WiFi Stick.
