Description
This 12 AWG AC Bus Cable spans multiple panels in a solar array. It connects directly to Aptos MAC-400 or MAC-800 microinverters, collecting the converted AC power and passing it to the rest of the alternative energy system. This cable comes in two different configurations, both of which are 144ft long. The 2.2M configuration includes 20 connectors with 2.2m (7.22ft) between each, and the 4.2M configuration includes 10 connectors with 4.2m (13.78ft) between each.

The MAC-800 has two panels between each connection, making the 4.2M cable an ideal match. Systems with the MAC-400 typically use the 2.2M cable.
The AC Bus Cable functions in residential, commercial, or industrial applications in conjunction with the Aptos microinverters. Remember to purchase the additional AC Connector Unlock Tool, Bus Connector Unlock Tool, and AC Bus End Cap to simplify maintenance and protect the system.
The AC Connector Unlock Tool and Bus Connector Unlock Tool disconnect the microinverter cable from the bus cable and open the bus port during maintenance and installation. Aptos designed these tools for use with the AC Bus Cable, and they protect the cable from damage during installation and maintenance.
The AC Bus End Cap snaps onto the end of the AC Bus Cable to protect it from water, dust, and other environmental factors. It seals the cable with an ingress protection of IP67 to protect against electrical shorts and other hazardous situations.
