Victron Energy 48V MultiPlus-II 3kVA 120V Inverter 35A Charger - UL1741. This is a Front view display of the inverter by Victron Energy with no background.

The MultiPlus-II 48V 3kVA is a pure sine wave inverter/charger that delivers 2400W continuous (5500W surge), charges batteries at up to 35A, and transfers to battery backup in under 20 milliseconds. UL 1741 certified for residential installations, it runs grid-tied ESS, off-grid, and backup configurations through a single unit. Two units pair for 120/240V split phase output, and up to six can be paralleled per phase. Systems purchased through Current Connected ship pre-programmed with your specified firmware and phase configuration.

The inverter has an M8 (5/16") stud as does the Lynx Distributor, so please select a cable option with 5/16" lugs on both ends. Please note that it is critical the cables to each inverter be exactly identical length and gauge. We typically recommend at least 4ft cables for this connection, but your layout may necessitate longer cables.

Solar Controller to Lynx Distributor Cables

Required

Since you selected a charge controller on its own rather than a complete bundle, you will need to select the appropriate cables, fuses, and communication cables to connect it into the system. Victron VE.CAN controllers will need a raw connection whereas MPPT RS controllers will need a 5/16" ring terminal. This cable will connect into the Lynx Distributor with a 5/16" ring terminal. Typically this cable is 4-5 FT, but you can extend or reduce your selection as needed.
