Description
The Pytes V16 is a lithium battery developed and produced by Pytes to provde a safe, reliable, and high-performance energy storage solution for residential, small commercial, and industrial energy storage systems. With up to 256kWh possible by paralleling 16 units with the Pytes Hub, these outdoor heated batteries can suit a wide variety of applications.
Pytes has shown incredible craftsmanship with their batteries, including choosing quality quick connectors, engineering their own BMS, and utilizing flexible circuit boards for enhanced functionality and sensor placement. The IP66 rating, heating element, and corrosion-resistance enables this battery to be used indoors or outdoors, whether it’s at the coast or the mountain tops.
The V16 uses Tier 1 automotive-grade 314Ah cells and includes an ESS (Energy Storage System) emergency shutdown function. The quick connectors used for the battery terminals allow for fast connection to and disconnection from the battery.
This LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery is able to be installed on a wall or on the floor. Its small footprint allows for installation in smaller spaces without taking up much room.
While it is IP66 rated, it is recommended to keep it out of harsh weather conditions, such as heavy rain, hail, or snow, and it shouldn’t sit in water. The heating element keeps the battery within charging and discharging temperature ranges, so even unheated sheds, garages, and barns make suitable homes for this battery.
