The V10 is a wall or floor mounted 48Vdc 200Ah battery manufactured by Pytes, a company with a reputation of excellence for over 20 years in the battery industry. This battery has been carefully engineered for safety, longevity, and inverter compatibility.
Pytes designed the V10 with multiple thermal management features. Eight incorporated temperature sensors constantly monitor the battery’s health, and if the battery temperature ever reaches 400°F, a safety port opens to vent heat and prevent the build up of pressure.
This weatherproof and corrosion resistant battery operates unprotected in most weather conditions. As a corrosion resistant battery, it’s ideal for coastal locations or other climates high in humidity and salinity. As a weatherproof battery, it’s safe for installation exposed to rain, snow, or dust storms.
The charging temperature range is 32°F to 131°F, but the included heating element expands this range to 14°F. This means the V10 can be safely stored outside down to 14°F. For regions often falling below 14°F, it’s best to install the battery in a shed, close to a heat source to optimize battery charging capabilities.
Pytes designed and incorporated its own BMS (Battery Management System) into the V10 to control battery functions. The Pytes MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) BMS handles higher voltages, has a higher response time, and uses significantly less power than a contactor BMS. Since the MOSFET has no moving parts, nothing wears out, giving the BMS an almost infinite lifespan. Therefore the BMS can continue protecting the battery from unsafe conditions long after the individual battery becomes obsolete.
Pytes recommends a charge and discharge current up to 120A, but the battery can handle 150-175A for 30 minutes and over 200A for 3 minutes. If the current reaches 300A, the BMS automatically limits charging to protect the battery.
A shunt-trip circuit breaker built into the battery adds additional protection to the V10 with a designated location for wiring an external RSD (Rapid Shutdown) button. An emergency shutdown button wired here not only shuts down the connected battery upon activation, but the signal cascades through any connected V10 batteries to safely shut down the entire system.
This battery uses 16 tier-1 automotive grade A 230Ah cells limited to 200Ah, increasing the DOD (depth of discharge) to 90%. This intentional restriction produces a 90% DOD for 8,000 cycles and makes this battery optimal for regions with codes restricting battery storage capacity. This discharge depth, combined with Pytes’ 10 year warranty, make this battery an optimal choice for long term systems.
The 9.98kWh V10 is stackable and scalable. Three batteries, with a total storage capacity of 29.94kWh, are usually enough to power an average home. For commercial or industrial use, safely combine up to eight batteries without additional components. For the largest of systems, the Pytes Hub increases the maximum to 48 safely combined batteries. The V10 is a prime choice for high usage systems whose capacity can scale with the needs of the user.

Very well built inside and out. The components are quality and the attention to detail is incredible. I don't think there is much more you could do to build a better battery! I have some photos attached so you can see inside. Two of these are going in my server room with the Midnite Rosie inverter as a backup UPS for the servers and network switches.
