Description

This fuse is ideal for the Victron Lynx Shunt. The Littelfuse CNNE series provides very fast-acting fuse protection for 80VDC systems with amperage ratings from 125A through 800A. These bolt-on terminal fuses deliver 2,500A interrupting capacity at rated voltage, ensuring reliable fault clearing under short-circuit conditions.

Each fuse incorporates a visual status indicator window for immediate fault identification. The very fast-acting time-current characteristic provides rapid response to overcurrent conditions. The fuses feature carefully calibrated energy-handling capacity—the 125A model can handle approximately 1,100 amp-squared-seconds of energy before opening, while the 800A version handles 70,000 amp-squared-seconds. This ensures the fuse will reliably open during fault conditions while tolerating normal inrush currents during equipment startup.

Available amperage ratings include 125, 325, 500, and 800A models. All units can interrupt at 80VDC with supplemental 125VAC rating. The fuses maintain consistent performance across the operational temperature range with minimal derating required for elevated ambient conditions. Power dissipation at rated current varies from 18W for 125A models to 35W for 800A units.

The bolt-on terminal configuration accepts standard M8 or 5/16″ hardware with recommended torque specifications of 15-20 lb-ft for secure electrical connection. Terminal spacing accommodates direct bus bar mounting or cable lug attachment. The silver-plated copper terminals ensure low contact resistance and resist oxidation in industrial environments.

The housing withstands mechanical stress and provides electrical isolation between terminals. The CNNE series carries UL Recognition under file E71611 and complies with RoHS requirements for lead-free construction. These fuses are specifically designed for lift trucks, scissor lifts, pallet movers, and other battery-operated material handling equipment operating at higher voltages than traditional 48V systems.
