The IntegraRack MultiBallast Wind Spoiler is a companion product to the 8° MultiBallast solar panel mounting system. The Wind Spoiler reduces the uplift force from wind underneath solar panels installed on flat surfaces.

Description

The IntegraRack MultiBallast Wind Spoiler pairs with the 8° MultiBallast solar panel mounting system to minimize airflow beneath the solar panel. It’s possible to use any size of solar panel with the racking system, and each solar panel requires one wind spoiler.

Cinder blocks anchor each MultiBallast kit, and the cinder block weight affects how much wind each solar panel can handle. In systems with 20lb cinder blocks, a 24sqft solar panel can withstand 90mph winds, and a 34sqft solar panel can withstand 65mph winds. In systems with 30lb cinder blocks, a 24sqft solar panel can withstand 120mph winds, and a 34sqft solar panel can withstand 95mph winds.
