Description

The EG4 Chargeverter Adapter Cables provide direct connection between the EG4 Chargeverter-GC and EG4 280Ah WallMount batteries using dual Degson connector terminations. These cables replace the standard ring-terminal cables included with the Chargeverter, eliminating the need for bus bars or additional hardware.

Each cable features a smaller Degson connector on one end that mates with the Chargeverter’s output terminals and a larger Degson connector on the opposite end compatible with the 280Ah WallMount battery terminals. Both connector types use tool-free installation with positive-lock retention that snaps into place without requiring torque specifications or crimping tools.

The cables are rated for 100A continuous current at 600Vdc, accommodating the Chargeverter’s full output capacity when charging at maximum rate. At 78 inches in length, they provide adequate reach between wall-mounted batteries and nearby Chargeverter installations. The conductor sizing matches the 100A rating to prevent voltage drop during extended charging cycles.

The battery-side connectors use keyed profiles that prevent reverse polarity connections, with distinct shapes between positive and negative terminals that make incorrect installation physically impossible. The Chargeverter-side connectors require attention to polarity marking during installation. Temperature rating spans -40°F to 257°F, exceeding the operating range of connected equipment.

The kit includes one positive and one negative cable weighing 2.65 pounds total. These pre-terminated cables eliminate the need for field termination and ensure consistent connection quality across installations.
