Description
The ECO-WORTHY 48V 60A battery charger uses grid power or generator power to keep batteries fully charged even during power outages or in low light conditions with limited solar power. ECO-WORTHY designed this charger for lithium batteries, but it’s compatible with most common battery chemistries.
This charger reduces high THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) from a generator to safe levels for household use. THD indicates a power’s fluctuation in frequency and voltage, and high THD can cause flickering lights or damage sensitive electronics. It’s therefore important to adjust the THD to a safe level before passing the power to an inverter or other device. The soft start feature adds additional stabilization and prevents current from suddenly rushing into the system.
This battery charger receives up to 16A at 90-260Vac from a generator. When it receives 120V power, it can output up to 30A to the batteries, and when it receives 120/240V power, it can output up to 60A to the batteries.
It’s possible to adjust the output current, making this charger ideal for nearly any situation. It’s compatible with many batteries, including the ECO-WORTHY 48V 100Ah battery, the EG4 LifePower4 V2 battery, and the EG4 LL-S V2 battery. For optimal communication, choose a battery with the Pylon protocol.
Safety features include overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, short circuit protection, overcurrent protection, and an external circuit breaker.
