Description
Axitec designed these 440W Bifacial solar panels with monocrystalline N-type TOPCon cells which increase efficiency by absorbing more light and containing unabsorbed light. These N-type cells work together to create a panel with 22.53% efficiency. This is significantly higher than traditional PERC panels.
Axitec created these bifacial panels to absorb light from both sides. This makes them ideal for flat roofs or ground mounted installations. They are excellent in any geography, but they perform exceptionally well in locations with highly reflective surfaces such as snow cover.
Each panel has 108 half cells which further increase efficiency. Since the half cells are smaller than a single full cell, it’s possible to use smaller busbars for conveying the captured electricity. Smaller busbars increase potential solar absorption as they leave more cell area exposed to the light.
Axitec designed these panels to resist up to 75.3psf of force, though they’ve been able to withstand up to 113psf of force in testing conditions.
