Description

These Eneramp Busbars connect directly to the Endurance 5 battery terminals to transfer current from each battery to the rest of the energy system. Eneramp designed this busbar to connect two server rack batteries when stacked on the open Eneramp server rack. The two holes on one end connect to the top battery, and the two holes on the other end connect to the bottom battery. M8 nuts secure all four connection points firmly to both batteries.

Each busbar includes multiple thin layers of copper that expand and contract independently. This layered design absorbs thermal expansion and reduces the chances of stress fractures which could shorten the busbar life or cause hazardous electrical conditions. The 1/16in rubber coating covers the busbar’s center to insulate the space between two batteries.

These busbars combine Endurance 5 batteries in parallel in place of traditional battery cables. Busbar connections produce a cleaner final installation than traditional cable connections and reduce maintenance hassle. This design works well for the open Eneramp Server Rack as the clean, wire-free installation is both fully visible and easily accessible.
