Description

The Tigo RSS Signal Detector is a device made for sensing the “keep-alive” signals in the Tigo TS4-A-F, TS4-R-F, and the TS4-F rapid shutdown modules installed in a PV (photovoltaic) system. Tigo recommends this device to verify compliance with the NEC 2017 690.12 rapid shutdown specifications. 

The TS4-F line of products connects to the solar panels and typically receives signals from the RSS Transmitter. The Signal Detector verifies that the modules are actively receiving the signal, and it lights up with an audible alarm if the signal is present. 

Use this Signal Detector on all TS4-F modules during installation to verify that the signal from the RSS Transmitter is present.
