Rich Solar designed these 100W solar panels with monocrystalline cells to be 22.6% efficient. Since they have a footprint of 39.0×21.3in, they conserve space to fit in small off-grid environments such as a boat or RV.
Each panel has 33 split cells which increase efficiency. Since the split cells are smaller than a single full cell, it’s possible to use smaller busbars for conveying the captured electricity. Smaller busbars increase potential solar absorption as they leave more cell area exposed to the light.
Rich Solar designed these panels to resist up to 2.4kPA wind load and 5.4kPA snow load, making them suitable for a variety of geographic locations.
