The Victron Smart BatteryProtect is a protection device between the batteries and the loads (Not Inverters). This protection device disconnects the load when the battery gets too low or the setpoint is reached. It ensures the batteries are never fully drained from specific loads.

The Victron Smart BatteryProtect is a battery protection device that will disconnect a load when the battery drops too low. It comes with short circuit protection that will also protect the battery from an accidental short. The short circuit protection of the SBP will be activated if you try to directly connect loads with capacitors on their input (eg inverters). This unit is also programmable, meaning the set points can be programmed to the exact voltages you want.
This unit is only meant to go between batteries and the load you want to disconnect.
