Description

When an MC4 or MC4-Evo 2 connector is not in use but is installed on the PV wire, this Sealing Cap plugs into the open connector to keep the contacts dry and prevent moisture from causing a short circuit or corrosion. Corrosion creates more resistance, which creates more heat, increasing the risk of fire.
