Description

The REC-BMS Pre-Charge Delay is made to help protect against inrush currents. This Pre-charge delay ensures a smooth and safe power-up procedure, ensuring the system components do not have an early death from inrush current issues. The REC BMS Pre-Charge Delay helps charge the input capaciters of the system before the main contractor switches 0n. It helps with inrush current by simply gradually introducing power. This REC BMS Pre-Charge Delay is good for anything from 12V, 24V, 36V, to 48V systems. It supports both single-pole and bi-stable latching contactors. This unit also allows delay adjustment from 2, 4, or 8 seconds(Default set to 4 seconds). With a 6.0A top-side coil drive, integrated 15 and 30 Ω power resistor, and a 10 Ω NTC, the REC BMS Pre-Charge Delay offers comprehensive protection for the system. It features over-current, reverse polarity, and over-voltage protection, safeguarding any components from potential risks.
