Every solar array needs a continuous electrical bonding path so all of the metal parts sit at the same potential. The IR-B1 is IntegraRack's part number for the DynoRaxx DynoBond, a proprietary, UL-recognized jumper that makes that connection the simple way. Rather than lugs and cable, it is a corrosion-resistant clip that snaps onto the frame of your panels and uses the frames themselves as the equipment ground path.
Bonding Without Lugs or Heavy Cable
The conventional way to ground an array meant fitting a dedicated ground lug on every module and running a solid 6-gauge copper wire between them, which added parts, cost, and labor to every job. The DynoBond replaces all of that. Its 12-gauge tin-plated copper wire is factory-crimped between two stainless steel spring clips, so each jumper bridges one frame to the next and lets the aluminum frames carry the bond. The result is a clean, low-resistance path with far less hardware.
Push-On Install, No Tools Required
There is nothing to bolt or torque. Each stainless clip has teeth that embed into the anodized frame when you push it onto the panel's bottom flange, making a solid connection by hand in seconds. The wire stays virtually hidden for a tidy finished look, and because the angle of the panel does not affect how the clip seats, the same jumper works on both flat and pitched installations.
