IMO 3 Pole AC Isolator Disconnect Switch 20A-125A Rating, Switch Disconnect for AC Circuits

The IMO Isolators connect and disconnect AC power from its source. These can be used between inverters, microinverters and load panels, between load panels and individual equipment such as A/C units, and other permanently installed equipment.

Isolators in 20A, 32A, 63A and 125A options are available, providing a cost-effective selection for projects large and small. The isolators have 3 poles, which are suitable for single and three-phase configurations. Optional auxiliary contacts (sold separately) can be added for monitoring of the state of the switch.

The Isolator creates a readily accessible disconnect location, and can be placed anywhere the circuit runs. With IP66 rating, this Isolator can even be placed outdoors where it will be exposed to the elements. Knockouts at the top and bottom allow for conduit of all types to enter the enclosure.

IMO’s Isolators are made of a hardy plastic housing with bright red handles for quick identification. A removable yellow cover encloses the internal switch where the wires are tightened into place with screw terminals. Once the cables have been installed and the cover placed, the activator switch opens and closes the circuit. 

The handle is lockable in the “OFF” position, which allows for a separate lock-out tag-out identifier to be inserted in the handle. This is ideal for ensuring equipment is not accidentally energized during maintenance. The handle is interlocked with the switch mechanism, preventing removal of the cover with a circuit energized.
