Description
Eneramp 48V 100Ah Battery Available at Current Connected
The Eneramp 48V 100Ah battery features up to 5.12kWh of renewable energy, and it’s possible to wire 64 batteries in parallel for up to 327.68kWh. Small family solar builds can use 2 or 3 batteries to power daily needs, and the overkill capacity of over 300kWh works well for commercial or industrial applications.
Quality Features for Every Customer
The Endurance 5 LiFePO4 battery includes important features to ensure continued functioning for more than 15 years. The incorporated BMS (Battery Management System) continuously monitors cell voltage and balances the cells to extend the battery life to more than 6,000 cycles.
You’ll find this server rack battery is easy to store in many configurations. Racks like the Eneramp 5-slot battery rack can fit up to 5 Endurance 5 batteries for a total storage capacity of 25.6kWh. This provides a convenient and mobile storage option that can expand as your energy needs change. You can reduce initial startup costs by paying for a single battery, and any time your energy needs grow, the rack can hold additional batteries.
A Battery Designed to Endure
The Eneramp Endurance 5 battery, available from Current Connected, exemplifies Eneramp’s dedication to quality, honesty, and customer support. As a US based company, Eneramp seeks to provide effective solutions for use in the alternative energy industry. Eneramp designed these LiFePO4 batteries to provide long term durability, customer satisfaction, and field serviceability.
This 48V battery includes a fully replaceable BMS, and the company provides spare parts from day 1. A spare BMS stored in an EMP-proof bag can protect your investment against potentially damaging EMPs. Should an EMP occur, simply replace the BMS and continue operating as normal.
The Eneramp commitment to quality includes ongoing research to improve each device. Future versions of the Endurance 5 will feature bolted cell construction, making it possible to replace individual cells without sending the battery back to the manufacturer.
Overall, the Endurance 5 exemplifies Eneramp’s intentional engineering to produce permanent energy components.
Nearly Universal Communication Options
RS485 and CANBus communication make the Endurance 5 compatible with all major inverter brands. The combination of an Endurance 5 battery with a Victron or EG4 inverter will power your off-grid cabin, shop, or commercial energy system.
Eneramp: A Supplier of American Products
As the alternative energy industry shifts, it’s becoming more important to source American products, and the Endurance 5 includes software and firmware completely held on American soil. This eliminates the potential for China or other FEOCs (Foreign Entities of Concern) to remotely monitor or control your energy storage.
Designed to Meet Recommended Safety Standards
Eneramp put the Endurance 5 through rigorous testing to check multiple scenarios known to cause hazardous electrical conditions and the Endurance 5 passed the testing for UL 1973 certification. This testing process measured the battery’s ability to resist thermal runaway and to prevent an explosion or other hazard.
The Endurance 5 also includes RSD (Rapid Shutdown) capabilities and fire arrestors. When connected to an inverter with RSD, the Endurance 5 can receive an RSD signal. Without waiting, the battery circuit breaker flips, disconnecting the battery from the system within 6 seconds of RSD activation.
It’s also possible to wire an external RSD button to the system, like the IMO Rapid Shutdown Initiator. Once activated, the button sends the RSD signal to the connected devices, turning them all off.
While LiFePO4 batteries have a low fire risk, the Endurance 5 includes multiple fire safety features. The BMS continuously tracks the battery temperature and shuts down the battery if it gets too hot. In the unlikely event that the battery continues to heat even after shutdown, the internal fire arrestors activate to prevent a fire.
Optimized for Cold Climates
The Endurance 5 includes an internal heater to continue charging and discharging in cold climates. The typical charging range is 32 to 131°F and the discharging range is -4 to 140°F, but Eneramp placed a heating mechanism inside the battery to enable continued functioning even in cold weather.
When the battery measures cold temperatures, the heater activates to keep the batteries warm. This means the batteries remain ready to charge and discharge regardless of external temperature.
