2 AWG Pure Copper Battery Cables – Reliable Power Transmission for High Amperage Applications

We believe in quality first and were rather disappointed with other cables options available on the market, so we decided the best solution would be to build them to our strict standards rather than outsource.

Our DC hookup cables are an ideal solution for a wide range of high amperage applications from off-grid power systems to RVs and more.  The cables are made from premium Windynation Power-Flex Cable, which is a very fine stranded 100% pure copper cable. We fabricate these cables with tin coated copper cable Lugs, which have great electrical conductivity and prevent a poor connections caused by corrosion.

To crimp these cables, we use a 6-point, 10-ton hydraulic press that creates a cold weld between the cable and lug.  After crimping, we apply a polyolefin glue-lined heat shrink tube, forming a protective seal around the cable and lugs to keep moisture out.  Every single cable goes through three quality assurance checks before being packaged and sent to you. 

We trust that these cables will withstand the test of time and will withstand the test of time in even the harshest environments.  Since we make these cables,  in addition to our variety of selections available on the website, we can also custom build cables to your exact specification.  Feel free to contact us if you don’t see the selection you need.

Question:

Can custom length of cable be made...such as instead of stock 9 inch cable ...maybe 5- or 6-inch cable ?

Answer:

Great question, this is no problem! If the size you need is a minor difference compared what we offer, just order size up from what you need. For example: if you need a 5 or 6 inch cable instead of a 9 inch cable, order the 9" cable and then specify the change in your order notes that you only want it 6 inches long. If however, you wanted an 8 1/2ft cable, just send us a quick email and we will adjust the pricing and make the cables exactly how you need.

What is the turn radius of your 2 awg battery-inverter cables?

Answer:

If you were to hold the cable and bend it in a circle without aggressively forcing the bend (minimal force), it's a 2 1/2" outside diameter circle. You can get it bent to a tighter radius but it takes more pressure to make that happen.
