This device brings 4G LTE-M connectivity to all VE.Direct enabled devices without any monthly fees or subscriptions, for the first five years.

Stay Connected on the Move

LTE-M is the abbreviation for LTE Cat-M1 or Long Term Evolution (4G), category M1. This cellular technology connects Internet of Things devices to existing 4G towers while using low energy. LTE-M supports handovers and roaming, so it is possible to use this device in a moving vehicle like a campervan. 

Seamless Monitoring and Control

The Victron GlobalLink 520 comes with two communication ports. This allows you to connect of up to two VE.Direct devices, such as a BMV Battery Monitor or MPPT Solar Charge Controller, directly to the VRM. Two digital inputs that also act as pulse counters and a remote controllable relay allow you to monitor and control your system.

Global Coverage for Uninterrupted Connectivity

The GlobalLink 520 features a built-in antenna designed to provide global coverage, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity during your adventures. Additionally, for those seeking constant connectivity in even the most remote places, an optional external antenna is available for purchase.

Enhanced Monitoring via VictronConnect and VRM

The Victron GlobalLink 520 now supports the RuuviTag temperature sensors. These battery powered sensors connect via BLE and are easy to set up via VictronConnect. All the data, like temperature, humidity, and air pressure from the RuuviTag sensors, will directly be available in VRM.

Remote Access and Advanced Insights

The online Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal provides you with access to your installation, from anywhere, at any time. In VRM you can check the status of your connected products, view detailed history graphs of your energy, generate detailed analytical reports, and even configure automatic alarms in case something goes wrong.

No, the Globallink 520 is a standalone device for up to 3 VE.Direct devices. If you have an Ekrano-GX, then you would use the 4G-LTE-A with a SIM card.
