Description
The EVO-1212F-HW is a smaller compact inverter with a slightly smaller output power. It still has the rest of the standard features, allowing for short-duration heavy surge loads. The Samlex F series has 4 stages charging, bulk, absorption, float, and equalization. Each of the stages is based on the battery’s condition rather the a pre-set charging time. This saves battery life as it reduces excess charging. It also comes with the capability to be hardwired, as well as 2 GFCI outlets.
When it comes to the transfer switch, the inverter has virtually no transfer time when switching from the inverter to the grid/generator. Then it has a less than 18ms transfer time for the grid/generator to the inverter. This means that there is no power interruption when switching between the two, allowing for it to be used as a UPS. The EVO-1212-HW can accept up to 50A of solar energy. It also can prioritize solar power rather than grid power even if the grid is available.
