Aptos Bus Connector Unlock Tool for Aptos MAC-400 and MAC-800 Microinverters

Description

The critical Aptos Bus Connector Unlock Tool enables quick access to the internal components of the Aptos AC Bus Cable. The Bus Cable directs harvested AC power from Aptos MAC-400 or MAC-800 microinverters to the rest of an alternative energy system installed in a commercial, residential, or mobile location. 

Aptos engineered this unlock tool to slide into the Bus Cable connector. Once inserted with the proper force, the port cover disengages, making it easy to access the interior components during installation or maintenance. 

The Aptos AC Bus Cable routes harvested AC power from the solar panels to the rest of the energy system. Installation requires disconnecting the port cover on the bus cable to install the Aptos AC End Cap, a critical component for sealing the energy system and preventing water, dust, or other environmental conditions from entering the components. It’s important to prevent these contaminants from enabling electrical shorts or other hazardous conditions.
